May I take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful New Year in 2019, overflowing with the abundant grace and blessing of God.

A New Year is that it provides each one of us with the opportunity to look back over the past year. Then we have a chance to set new goals and establish a new direction for the year ahead. We should remember that when the Lord looks at us, He does not view all our past mistakes and failures, but rather looks at where we are now in the present, and where we wish to go in the future.

We have received wonderful joy, peace and love that Jesus Christ brought to all mankind 2000 years ago when he came from heaven to earth! This unchanging message still brings hope, excitement and blessed assurance of eternal salvation to millions of people around the world, as He died, rose again, ascended to the right hand of His Father in Heaven, and is coming back soon as King of kings and Lord of lords!

Jesus, our Savior and God, became man to give us full freedom as Sons of God. In Jesus and with Jesus we can realize all our dreams and hopes because he said: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart: and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light”.

In this New Year, I hope that you are all filled with hope for the future. If you renew your faith in the guiding hand of the Lord’s Divine Providence, and trust that He will always provide for you, then you will find that all your anxiety will fade away and angelic peace will take its place.

We are looking forward to where God will lead us this year, and how he will use us. May 2019 be a year of growth and gains for you and your family, and may goodness and mercy chase you throughout the New Year. Let us continue to encounter Christ, engender change, and empower our communities.
