Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant!

To each one of them, the master gave five talents, two talents, and one talent according to their ability. Then the master gave them a time. Then when he came back from his journey, he will count what they made through the talents.

The one who received five, he made five talents more, the one who received two, he made two talents more, then the master said “Well done, good and faithful servant, you have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness. But the one who received on talent, he waste his time and didn’t make more, just dug the ground and hide his master’s talents.

Then the master said “you wicked, lazy servant! Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. Throw the worthless servant outside, in to the darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

This parable tells about our life. Like the master, God gives us talents according to our ability. So we didn’t have same talents each one of us. And all we have same time. Important is Even though we do not have same ability, when we do our best use our talent to make more in my life time. He will praise you if you make more according to your ability. And there must be the final time to account what we have made more with your talents in my life time.

Through our life, we should make talents. We bear the fruit of love, fruit of joy, fruit of peace, fruit of forbearance, fruit of kindness, fruit of goodness, fruit of faithfulness, fruit of gentleness and fruit of self-control.

In our life we need to make talent these kinds of things. However many people in this world make talent of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, and no mercy. (Romans 1) This kind of life is same as the one who received one talent and didn’t make any talents. Even make talents of sins.

The one who received one talent, he didn’t know that there will be the time of Judgment. He waist their life. They waste their time. The time is given by God. It’s not his time. Through our life, we should make talents. We were all sinners, but by the blood of Jesus, we have become justified.

How amazing this great gift of God. Let us save our time and be the one who use our life to make more talents and give good news to the people in the world.
